Our Ski Club’s Annual Ski Trip for 2020 is to the high Alpine resort area of St. Moritz in the Engadine valley in southeastern Switzerland! St. Moritz is one of the most famous skiing areas in the world. This snowy Alpine resort has winter sports for everyone, including skiers, snowboarders, cross-country, snowshoeing, and more. And for non-skiers, there’s sightseeing, sleigh rides, world-class dining, shopping, nightlife, and much more.
The four large and varied ski areas of Corviglia/Piz, Nair, Corvatsch/Furtschellas, and Diavolezza/Lagalb offer a combined 200+ miles of terrain serviced by 56 lifts, with nearly 70 percent of the terrain rated as intermediate. In addition, there are five smaller ski areas offering endless fun on beginners’ slopes. Throughout these ski areas, the slopes are dotted with many cozy mountain restaurants and highly rated gourmet restaurants, many with terraces to enjoy the magnificent views.
For cross-country enthusiasts, the region offers diverse skiing trails and scenic landscape, plus unbeatable trail quality and guaranteed snow cover. The 150 mile cross-country skiing network around St. Moritz offers trails for all levels of enthusiasts, plus some illuminated trails so that you can continue skiing until well after dark.
The ski package for the ski week in St. Moritz includes:
